Our founder, Peter Stanford, learned how insurers work to minimize and deny injured persons' claims following highway injuries. Despite the success he had, he was never comfortable with the job or the tactics. In 1989, he founded his own personal injury law firm.

In 2024, he was joined in practice by his daughter, Annie Stanford, who passed the bar in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, she worked with a nationwide law firm and then clerked for a federal judge in Milwaukee.
